It was a beautiful summer day in 2009 when we decided to visit our local Minneapolis Farmers Market to pick up some fresh veggies and a few treats for our dog and two cats. To our surprise, not a single vendor at the largest market in Minnesota offered anything for pets. That evening, a little online research led us to recipes for homemade dog treats, cat grass, and even a source for natural honeysuckle cat toys.
